The High School Cheerleaders spent the past week at UCA Cheer Camp. The Squad ended their first ever Cheer Camp on a great note by placing 2nd in the Game Day Performance Competition and by bringing home a Spirit Stick!
The squad also came home with a few individual awards.
Congratulations to Senior Leah Detter and Sophomore Claire Blew for both making the All American Team! Cheerleaders had the opportunity to tryout for the All American Team by demonstrating the highest level of cheerleading skills.
Captain, Leah Detter was also the recipient of the prestigious "Pin It Forward" Award. Each UCA Staff selects one standout cheerleader from the entire camp who they feel portrays the characteristics of Leadership, Spirit, Commitment, Kindness and Motivation. This is considered the highest award a cheerleader can receive at Camp.
USD 311 is looking for a full time custodian at the Grade School. Pay for this position is based on previous experience. Starting date is as soon as possible. Questions about the position should contact Katie Belden at maintenance@usd311.com.
