Seventeenth Annual Forensics Night
Come one, come all, to the annual forensics night featuring your Pretty Prairie High School Forensics team. They will be performing Duets, Solos, speeches, Poetry and Skits! You have the opportunity to see a few of the many events that these students have been competing in at meets to earn berths at the State Speech Championship Meet on Saturday, May 6th in Hutchinson.
Forensics Night will be on Monday, May 1st, in the middle school auditorium and admission is free! This is the team and coach's way of saying thank you to the community for your support!

Today Mr. Days class began their lab in suturing for vet med. The students were able to watch multiple techniques and then apply what they saw to the suture kits.

A little over a week ago the 6th grade class took a trip to the Museum of World Treasures. Some of the highlights were seeing the mummies and shrunken head, the scavenger hunt and ancient artifact handling! What a great learning experience!










Voter registration deadline is April 25th. Make sure that you are registered!


1st grade has been working on our plant unit. So far, we have learned about chlorophyll, plant pollination and we have planted some seeds.

PPHS Forensics Wins League 12th Year in a Row
Pretty Prairie finished first at the league meet for the twelfth consecutive year, sans the 2020 Covid year, finishing with 237 points, followed by South Barber with 212, Cunningham 139, Fairfield and Norwich. Non league schools participating were Clearwater and Caldwell.
Ten of our eleven squad members went on to compete in finals and four more events are qualified for State Champs, including: Logan Graber, 1st and Carlin Stucky 2nd in extemp; Sadie Nisly 1st in serious solo; and Jaiden McGinnis 2nd in impromptu.
Others placing jn finals included: Jaiden McGinnis 4th in extemp; Carlin Stucky 1st Danae McLeland 3rd and Sophi England 4th in oration; Jaeli Deel 1st and Jaiden McGinnis 2nd in inform; Copper Collins 4th and Cara Shultz 6th in poetry; Logan Graber 2nd in prose; Logan Graber 6th in impromptu; Copper Collins 1st and Danae McLeland 2nd in humorous solo; Sophi England and Sadie Nisly 1st and Jaeli Deel and Cara Shultz 4 in duet; and Reagan McLeland and Danae McLeland 4th in IDA.
Our final meet will be State Champs on Saturday, May 6th, in Hutchinson. A special thank you to Jennifer Shultz, Kim McLeland and Janie Henderson for driving and judging for us!


Join us for one of our Community Meetings. The meetings will be held on April 20th and 24th in the high school gymnasium. Those meetings are set to begin at 6:30pm each evening.
