Pretty Prairie Unified School District 311 will have a 2 hour late start tomorrow, Thursday, January 6. Temperatures will be very cold, so please take extra precautions to keep children warm on their way to school. There will be no school breakfast served in the morning.

SITUATION UNDER CONTROL: A heater in the HS Gym malfunctioned. There are NO injuries and no damage to the building. The Fire Department is assessing the situation but are allowing students back into the main building. More details will be released shortly, please stay tuned for any school alerts. Again all students are accounted for and safe.

Tim Ulrich and Copper Collins were selected to participate in the SCKMEA district honor band. Izzy McKinney was selected to participate in the SCKMEA honor choir. The concerts where held on December 4th.

Saturday the 18th through Monday the 27th, the HS and MS Gym floors will be refinished. Practices will resume on Tuesday the 28th after the moratorium.
Please note that the High School basketball game versus Oxford on December 14th will go as follows:
*No JV girls game
*Boys JV game will start at 5 pm followed by girls varsity then boys varsity
A chili and cinnamon roll fundraiser benefitting Chad Webster and his family will be held on Tuesday, December 14th, from 4 pm-7 pm. A baked goods silent auction will also be held at that time. This will be held in conjunction at our home basketball game vs Oxford.
