Those competitors placing in the top six and earning medals included two state champions: Jaeli Deel, 1st in informative and Logan Graber, 1st in prose with good Old Dry Frye! Others in the top realm were: Raegan McLeland, 2nd and Carlin Stucky, 3rd in oration; Sadie Nisly and Sophia England, 3rd in duet; and Copper Collins, 6th in humorous solo. Others who broke in semi finals were: Cara Shultz and Jaeli Deel at 8th in duet, Cara Shultz, 9th and Jaiden McGinnis, 10th in informative; Sophia England, 10th in oration; Raegan McLeland and Copper Collins,10th in IDA; and Carlin Stucky and Jaiden McGinnis in extemp. Thank you to the parents, aunt, siblings, former team members, and Leon who came to support us all day. Also, thank you to Mr. Hedrick for stopping in, and to Janie Henderson for the send off brownies and card. A special thank you to Kim McLeland, Jennifer Shultz and Stephanie Gehring for driving, judging and cheerleading. And kudos to these teens and the seventeen years of prior squad members who devoted outside time, talent and all day Saturdays to earn their favorite saying, D-O-M-I-N-A-T-I-O-N!!!

Looks like the Superintendent and the squad of principals are ready to take on the ultimate boss level: the end of the school year! A special shout to to Mrs. Anderson, Mr. Hedrick and Mrs. Burkhart! USD 311 wouldn't be what it is without your leadership. #311educationappreciationweek

These fine folks feed us daily and we couldn’t ask for better! Thank you to our food service staff who start the days early to prepare our meals and feed many hungry bellies during the breakfast and lunch shifts! We appreciate your dedication to providing a well-balanced meal each day! The end of the year is busy and it is impossible to get everyone together for a picture. We appreciate ALL our kitchen staff! #311educationappreciationweek

Mrs. White...we can't say enough about Mrs. White! She not only looks after the Library but she also is the one who steps up and takes classes when teachers need a quick substitute. She makes the library what it is! Mrs. White is an invaluable part of USD 311. #311educationappreciationweek

Every year the 5th grade class reads the novel The Lemonade War. After finishing the book they get to plan, prepare, and run a lemonade stand. This year's class has decided to use the money they make to build an outdoor gaga ball pit by the playground. The lemonade stand will be set up near the track at the Grade School Play Day tomorrow May 5th!
