The long 21 day wait while the eggs were in the incubator was worth it! Mrs. Miller's PreK 4 class hatched 18 chicks! It was fun to finally be able to hold them.
Yesterday the 6th grade had the opportunity to tour the KDHE Mobile Laboratory Experience. Such a fun morning and a great learning environment.
Handcrafted Arts students are still working on projects. Barn quilts, finger knitting, upcycling of an old chair, watercolors, acrylic sunflowers, magazine "sticks" are just a few of the projects!
The KDHE Mobile Laboratory Experience is an immersive, educational experience brought to K-12 public schools across Kansas. It features hands-on science experiences taught by professional educators and scientists, this onsite field trip is completely grant funded.
The grade school had the chance to interact with the Mobile Lab throughout the day yesterday.

Seventeenth Annual Forensics Night
Come one, come all, to the annual forensics night featuring your Pretty Prairie High School Forensics team. They will be performing Duets, Solos, speeches, Poetry and Skits! You have the opportunity to see a few of the many events that these students have been competing in at meets to earn berths at the State Speech Championship Meet on Saturday, May 6th in Hutchinson.
Forensics Night will be on Monday, May 1st, in the middle school auditorium and admission is free! This is the team and coach's way of saying thank you to the community for your support!
