Mrs. Reyes Pre-K 3 Class re-used tissue rolls to make binoculars and took a nature walk to celebrate Earth Day last week!



Mrs. Jaimie Graber's Kindergarten classes made bird feeders using toilet paper, peanut butter, and bird seed in celebration of Earth Day.





A few HS band members sat in with the 5th graders during band rehearsal Thursday, April 21st. Mrs. Ramirez said, "We do this for 3 reasons, to help the 6th graders develop more confidence in their playing, to develop leadership skills in the HS students, and to develop community between the various bands here at the school. It is working beautifully and I can't wait for our concerts."
The HS concert will be April 26 at 7pm and the MS concert will be May 10th at 7pm.

Foodservice staff worked with the students in Mrs. McDaniel's FACS classes on knife skills in the kitchen. The students had the opportunity to cut cantaloupe and pineapple while learning knife skills and food safety. The scraps from all the trimmed fruit was fed to the pigs on the School Farm.




7th Girls Health Class doing their community service project. They are collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald house as well as doing a bake sale with proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald house.
