The Kindergarten class explored Community Helpers today with visits to the Library/City Office, Bank, and Post Office! They learned about the different roles and tools used in these important places.
Mr. Detter's 7th-grade science class launched their hot air balloons!
Yesterday, our High Schoolers spent the day in Mulvane, at the Build my Future event!
Last week the 6th grade had a great day at Career Quest touring HCC, the Fire Science building, and HCTEA. A few highlights included running simulations in welding, fire extinguishers, and CPR; they took off car tires, sprayed fire hoses, and heard and saw the benefits and opportunities of college life in Hutchinson!

On October 15th, our students put their dairy knowledge to the test at the South Central District Dairy Cattle Evaluation Contest! From placing classes to giving reasons, they showed dedication and passion for learning about the dairy industry.
Our Greenhand Team placed 5th Place with Ian Mason placing 4th and Westin Lanning placing 25th overall. Our Senior Team placed 21st, with Wyatt Grilliot placing 24th overall. Way to go, Pretty Prairie FFA members!

Thank you to our EMS and Fire Crews for allowing our Pre-K 3 & 4 and kindergarteners to learn about safety and emergency procedures. While I'm sure they'd thank you for many things, their favorite part of the day was definitely honking the horn!
Eleven PPMS students have been selected to represent our school in the SCKMEA South Central District honor band and honor choir. On November 8th, these students will join over 100 others from various schools in our region to prepare music. They will meet at Goddard HS to rehearse and present concerts at 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM. Congratulations!
